Bring the shoes or boots you plan to wear with the jeans — the hem is set relative to the floor, so heel height directly affects the correct length.

If you want the original factory hem preserved, mention this when booking. It adds to turnaround time but keeps the authentic look.

For waist adjustments, check whether there is extra fabric inside the waistband. Most jeans have some allowance, but the amount varies by brand and style.

Freshly laundered jeans give the most accurate fit. Denim stretched through extended wear may sit differently after a wash.
